Herf International 2019 at Punta Cana

A herf is a gathering of cigar smokers. Now where the word originated from is unknown, there are a few theories floating around on the internet but nobody seems to know the origin of the word. It doesn’t matter though, every seasoned cigar smoker knows what it means.

This year, from October 10th till 14th, the Herf International is organized in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Under the name “Barcelo Barvalo Beach Smokation” cigar aficionados from all over the world are invited to join fellow brothers and sisters of the leaf to hang out, smoke, drink, chat and make new friends.

The festivities take place at the Barcelo Bavaro Beach resort and include private check-in, a charity event, unlimited food, an open bar, exclusive activities plus chocolate, rum and cigar tours.
