Plasencia Cigars Unveils Brand Refresh Ahead of PCA 2026

Plasencia Cigars has updated its brand identity, introducing a new logo and visual language across the company for the first time in nearly a decade, with the full expression set to debut at the 2026 PCA Trade Show in New Orleans.

At the centre of the new identity is a tobacco leaf framed within a hexagon, which the company positions as a reference to natural efficiency and its agricultural roots. The cigars themselves remain unchanged.

New packaging across the portfolio is the primary vehicle for the updated identity. Each box now features a “Vista” design on the inside lid intended to communicate brand heritage and terroir. The Alma Collection receives packaging that reflects the distinct origin character of each blend, while Reserva Original incorporates a sunflower motif tied to its organic farming process.

Reserva Original also sees a structural change, moving from 10-count to 14-count boxes and receiving a new UPC as a result. Alma Collection UPCs remain unchanged. Plasencia says the new boxes use less wood and are tailored per vitola to reduce excess material.

The transition begins in the autumn, with old and new packaging running concurrently in the market. The Cosecha collection is not included in this round of changes, with a review planned for 2027.
